In case you missed it, my name is Daneen! I'm a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying Media and Journalism and Information Science.

I’m passionate about online news, especially in the intersections of enterprise journalism, graphics reporting and local audience service. My goal is to work in the UI/UX and research/strategy side of a digital-first newsroom to ensure the most important stories are reaching the most expansive audiences.

When I’m not panicking because Adobe Illustrator crashed again or writing my next byline, you can usually find me bookmarking Substack posts I’ll never read, watching Spider-Man edits or chatting with my friends over an iced chai.
